SUBJECT:         Public Comment Period for Local Bankruptcy Rules and Local Bankruptcy Forms

DATE:               July 31, 2006

The Court and the Committee on Local Rules have prepared revisions to the Court’s Local Bankruptcy Rules (LBRs) and Local Bankruptcy Forms (LBFs). 

A 30-day public comment period will commence on July 31, 2006, and end on August 30, 2006.  The public comment draft is available for review on the Court’s web site at www.nhb.uscourts.gov/.  In addition, a paper copy is available for review at the clerk’s office.

Comments with respect to the LBRs and LBFs must be made in writing by sending an e-mail to LocalRules@nhb.uscourts.gov, or you may hand-deliver or mail your comments to the clerk’s office at the address below.  (Comments must be postmarked no later than September 1, 2006): Clerk, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, ATTN: Local Rules Comments, 1000 Elm Street, Suite 1001, Manchester, NH 03101-1708.
