Heather Dunion Neville of the law firm Boynton, Waldron, Doleac, Woodman and Scott in Portsmouth has been elected to a three-year term on the board of directors of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Seacoast. Neville has been a NH Bar member since 2005.

John E. Lyons, Jr., of Lyons Law Offices, was elected board chair of the Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the State Board of Education, the Portsmouth School Board and Portsmouth Rotary. He has been a NH Bar member since 1982.
Crisp Elected Bow Selectman

Concord and Berlin attorney and a former NHBA president, Jack P. Crisp, Jr. has been elected to a three-year term on the Board of Selectman for the Town of Bow. He also serves as President of the Bow High School Falcons Booster Club. He has been a NH Bar member since 1978.
Greenbook Project Participants Honored
Hon. Susan B. Carbon, supervisory judge, Grafton County Family Division, was presented with the annual Division for Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) Director’s Award. Carbon was honored for her commitment to moving New Hampshire forward in the area of best practice. She has been a NH Bar member since 1980.
Lauren V. Thorn, regional court administrator, was presented with the Child Protection Community Member Award by DCYF at the division’s annual conference. DCYF Director Maggie Bishop says, “[Thorn] quietly supports DCYF and the courts in their effort to address the complex issues facing NH.” Thorn has been a NH Bar member since 1994.

Foss Elected to HEAR Board
Raymond A. Foss, of Special Education Legal Services in Manchester, has been elected to the board of HEAR in New Hampshire, a non-profit organization providing auditory/oral education and a therapeutic curriculum in a nurturing environment to help children who are deaf or hard of hearing. He joined the NH Bar in 2004 and is a solo practitioner in Manchester.
Daly Elected to NAMI-NH Board

Andrea L. Daly, a litigation attorney with McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton in Manchester, has been elected to the board of the New Hampshire chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI-NH), the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of persons living with serious mental illness and their families. She has been a NH Bar member since 1997.

 Cathryn (Kate) Vaughn | Leadership Manchester Selects Vaughn
Cathryn (Kate) Vaughn, of McLane Graf, Raulerson & Middleton in Manchester, was chosen to be a member of the 2007 Leadership Greater Manchester class. The organization selects 35 professionals from among businesses, government, education, not-for-profit, arts, and religious and community groups to participate in its annual program. She has been a NH Bar member since 2004.

Richard Y. Uchida, a partner at the Concord law firm Hebert & Uchida, was named to the Colby College Board of Trustees. Uchida’s service to Colby has included two terms as an overseer. He is a past president, vice president, secretary, and governor-at-large of the NHBA and is presently a director of the New Hampshire Bar Foundation and also its treasurer. He has been a NH Bar member since 1984.

Loughlin on Foundation for Seacoast Health Board
Peter J. Loughlin, a solo practitioner in Portsmouth and NH Bar member since 1969, was elected for a three-year term to the Foundation for Seacoast Health Board of Trustees. He is also a member of the Foundation’s Community Campus Facility Committee.
