IP for Artists Is Arts Day Talk Topic
Franklin Pierce Law Center professor Ashlyn Lembree, an attorney and supervisor of the law student-operated Intellectual Property and Transaction Clinic, will address a group of lawyers, artists, and arts-related business owners as part of the 4th Annual Arts Day of Learning and Networking. The all-day event, which is sponsored by ArtWorks-NH (a program of MicroCredit-NH), the NH State Council on the Arts and RiverWoods at Exeter, takes place on Saturday, Sept. 16, at RiverWoods at Exeter, 7 RiverWoods Drive, Exeter.
Lembree, who is also of counsel at Wiggin & Nourie in Concord, volunteered her time to discuss the basics of licensing, copyrighting and contracts to an audience of both established and emerging professional artists who want to protect their art and livelihoods. The session is from 1:00-2:30 p.m.
