Gordon C. Gilroy
Gordon C. Gilroy, 51, an attorney and vice president at Summit Packaging Systems in Manchester, died on July 23, 2006 at his Hopkinton home. A graduate of Franklin Pierce Law Center, he had been a NH Bar member since 1995.
Born on Jan. 5, 1955 in New Rochelle, NY, Gilroy attended schools in New York, graduating in 1979 from the Newhouse School of Syracuse University. He was employed for a number of years by Dow Jones newspapers.
After moving to New Hampshire and attending law school, he became legal counsel for Summit Packaging, where he later was vice president.
Survivors include his wife, Deidre Harney Gilroy, and three daughters, Sarah, Bridget and Madelyn. He also leaves his parents, Gordon and Elizabeth Gilroy of Concord; a brother, Scott Gilroy of Canterbury; a sister, Betsy van Duren of Bedford; and many nieces and nephews.
