DOVE Project Receives Purple Ribbon Award
The Rape & Domestic Violence Crisis Center recently honored

This annual award was developed by the crisis center to recognize professionals in the community working in collaboration to address domestic and sexual violence and stalking issues. At its annual meeting, the agency’s board chair presented the 12th annual award to Pam Dodge, the DOVE Coordinator, who accepted it on behalf of the 45 volunteer attorneys in Merrimack County who have taken cases over the past 13 years.
In her remarks, the chair (name withheld upon request) thanked the panel of attorneys for their generosity and willingness to take referrals, often with as little as a day’s notice. She went on to note that advocates feel welcome to call the attorneys, adding that they feel confident referring people to them. In closing, she thanked the volunteer lawyers for their remarkable dedication to victims/survivors.
