Pro Bono CLE Focuses on Mediated Family Agreements
Attorneys, court personnel and NHBA legal services staff listen attentively to a panel discussion held Sept. 7 on the new ethics rule allowing limited-scope legal representation (also known as “unbundling” of services) and its application in mediated family law cases.
The CLE program, sponsored by the NHBA Pro Bono Referral Program, will be available as a video replay later this fall. The program was one of the first educational programs held at the Bar Center’s new offices at 2 Pillsbury Street in Concord.
Panelists participating in the program were: Keene attorney John Norton, a primary author of the proposal to allow limited-scope representation in New Hampshire and chair of the Pro Bono Governing Board; Susan Ashley, Family Division administrator; attorneys and mediators Karen Borgstrom and Gregory Martin; and NHBA Associate Executive Director for Legal Services Ginny Martin.
