Moore Becomes New England Bar President


        George R. Moore, the 1999-2000 NHBA president and a member of the Devine Millimet & Branch law firm in Manchester, takes office later this month as president of the New England Bar Association.

        Moore had been serving on the NEBA board of directors. NHBA President-Elect Eleanor Dahar also was appointed to a three-year term on the board, joining New Hampshire members Russell Hilliard and Richard Y. Uchida.

        NEBA’s Annual Meeting takes place this year, from Oct. 26-28, at the Equinox Resort, Manchester Village, Vt. New Hampshire will host the NEBA Annual Meeting in the fall of 2007.
