Rules Committee To Hear Comments on New Ethics Rules
The NH Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Rules has scheduled a public hearing on pending changes to the NH Rules of Professional Conduct for Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006.
The committee, which also had sought preliminary comments on the comprehensive proposal to update the code of ethics for NH lawyers by Sept. 1, holds one of its two regular yearly public hearings on Dec. 13, and the RPC proposal will be among the rule changes offered for comment, said David Peck, the Court’s liaison to the committee.
Written comments will be received up until that date, or individuals may testify at the hearing. Specific information on the public hearing will be publicized when the official notice of the hearing is released later this month.
