NHBA Passes Resolution Regarding September 11 Attacks
RESOLVED That the members of the New Hampshire Bar Association express to members of the New York City, Washington, D.C-area and Federal bar associations their deepest sympathies regarding the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001.
We express our condolences to all members of your associations for any losses they may have suffered, as well as to their families, colleagues, staff and friends.
As fellow members of the legal profession, we stand united and at your side during this time of national shock and mourning. May we all emerge from these events more dedicated than ever to the principles of justice, liberty and freedom. Our commitment to these ideals, and to the protection of the constitutional rights we cherish, make us different from those who attacked us and give our nation the strength necessary to recover and to remain great.
Our thoughts are with you.
Approved by vote of the NHBA Board of Board of Governors on Sept. 27, 2001.
