Merrill Elected to Easter Seals Board
James F. Merrill, of Devine Millimet in Manchester has been elected to the Easter Seals-New Hampshire board of directors, one of the largest non-profit health & human service providers in New Hampshire and one of the most comprehensive Easter Seals affiliates in the country.
Hall Receives Award: ‘Angels in Adoption’
Margaret Cunnane Hall of Brookline has received a 2006 Congressional Angels in Adoption Award in recognition of her adoption work in New Hampshire. She has been a consultant to foster families and has served as a guardian ad litem over the past 20 years. She is a member of American Academy of Adoption Attorneys and the New Hampshire Open Door Society.
Dunn Receives Nurses Association Award
Robert E. Dunn, Jr., of Devine Millimet in Concord, has received the 2006 President’s Award from the New Hampshire Nurses Association (NHNA). The award recognizes a person who is not a nurse but has done the most to advance the interests of nursing in the State of New Hampshire.
Leach Elected to Board of Boys & Girls Club
Kevin M. Leach, of Reis & Leach in Manchester, was elected to a three-year term on the board of directors for the Manchester Boys & Girls Club. He has served as president of the Manchester Bar and is currently treasurer for the NH Trial Lawyers Association.
Decker Elected to Engineer Society Board
Phillip E. Decker, of Mesmer & Deleault in Portsmouth, was elected as a state director of the NH Society of Professional Engineers. He has also been elected to the Board of Directors of the Tenants Association at Pease International Tradeport.
Manzelli Selected to Leadership Concord Program
Amy Manzelli, of Sulloway & Hollis in Concord, was selected by the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce to participate in this year’s Leadership Concord program. She and 20 other classmates will pursue a comprehensive 10-day program learning in detail about the Greater Concord community.
Michaud Elected to Executive Committee
Shelagh Newton Michaud, of Devine Millimet in Manchester, was elected to the executive committee of the University of New Hampshire Alumni Association board of directors. Michaud also volunteers with the Make-a-Wish Foundation of NH.
Newsom Becomes Foundation Director
James Newsom, of the law firm Rath, Young & Pignatelli in Concord, has been elected secretary and director of the Gordonstoun American Foundation, which promotes and supports the Gordonstoun School in Scotland and its International Summer School.
