Bar News - February 9, 2007 LRE Presents Howard Zibel with Gift of Thanks In recognition of his 20 years of service to the NHBA Law-related Education (LRE) Program, Howard J. Zibel, far right, a member of the NH Bar since 1976 and general counsel to the Supreme Court, accepts a lamp recently presented by NH Senate President Sylvia Larsen, as NH Bar Foundation Director David Snyder, far left, looks on. The lamp is symbolic of the light shone on the Constitution by the We the People program, which was introduced to New Hampshire by Zibel. LRE programs are supported by both the NH Bar Association and the NH Bar Foundation. During the event held at the State Finals competition of We the People last month, Melissa Ogle of Sen. John Sununu’s office also read a thank you letter from the congressman to Zibel and Chief Justice John T. Broderick spoke about Zibel’s dedication to the program.
