Attorneys Reveal Acting Talent for Professionalism Day
"A MASTERFUL WORK!" raves Law Films Reviewed. "A brilliant display of attorney acting," claims Tuned In.*
The critics agree, the videotaped vignettes that will be shown as part of this year’s statewide Professionalism Day on Friday, November 16 are an entertaining and thought-provoking way of looking at professionalism issues that attorneys face in their daily practice. The vignettes set up scenarios that address certain issues in professionalism, such as dealing with the pro se litigant and candor toward the tribunal, and serve as a springboard for discussion of those issues.
Don’t miss the lifelike performances of attorney actors like Joe Laplante, who plays a lawyer struggling with an issue regarding candor towards the tribunal, Eric Wilson as his opposing counsel and Tim Bush, who plays the judge hearing their case. See attorney Russell Hilliard playing a pro se litigant asking attorney Brian Kenyon for explanation and advice in another vignette.
Attorneys from all walks of life, not just litigators, can benefit from the discussions on professionalism that will take place at locations across the state on Statewide Professionalism Day. Through a variety of facilitated discussions, including those based on the vignettes, attendees will look at what professionalism is, professionalism issues in daily practice and what can be done to promote professionalism among NH lawyers.
Statewide Professionalism Day is being co-sponsored by the Committee on Professionalism and the NHBA Continuing Legal Education Committee. The program is being hosted by each county’s bar association at a location in each county.
