Making Medical Decisions for Someone Else—A Manual
Now available at www.nhbar.org, or as a free booklet, is a 26 page New Hampshire handbook providing guidance to those who may be required to make medical decisions for someone who is incapacitated. The manual, written for a general audience, is adapted from a Maryland publication to reflect New Hampshire law. It was developed by a working group headed by retired Probate Court Administrative Judge John Maher, and included representatives of the Elder Law Section, the medical community, and others.
