Attorneys Needed for Law Week 2007
Every spring, hundreds of NH attorneys and judges visit schools all over the state during Law Week, with most of the visits occurring on Friday, May 4, the date nationally known as “Law Day.”) This annual spring event pairs attorneys and judges with classrooms throughout the state to discuss concepts of law, rights and responsibilities of citizenship, and other legal issues.
NHBA members are encouraged to visit the Law-Related Education pages at www.nhbar.org (there’s a link at the top of the home page) which has abundant resources for lesson plans and topics for any grade level.
Specific requests have already come in for attorneys and judges are needed for classrooms in Jaffrey, N. Stratford, Litchfield, Nashua, Manchester, and Franklin.
If you have questions or want to volunteer—at these locations or as other opportunities come up—contact LRE Coordinator Robin Knippers at rknippers@nhbar.org or 603-715-3259.
