The New Hampshire Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Rules will hold a PUBLIC HEARING at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at the Supreme Court building on Noble Drive in Concord to receive the views of any member of the public, the bench or the bar on court rules changes that the committee proposes to recommend to the Supreme Court.

Copies of the specific changes tentatively proposed by the committee are available on request to the secretary of the committee at the NH Supreme Court Building, Noble Drive, Concord, New Hampshire 03301 (Tel. 271-2646). In addition, the proposed changes are available on the Internet at http://www.state.nh.us/courts/supreme.htm. The proposed changes concern the following rules:

1. Supreme Court Rule 7 re appeals from lower court decisions on the merits.
2. Supreme Court Rule 10 re appeals from administrative agencies.
3. Supreme Court Notice of Appeal form and Supreme Court Outline of Petition form.
4. Supreme Court Rule 12 re requests for confidentiality of case records and access to case records.
5. Supreme Court Rule 32-A counsel in guardianship and involuntary admission cases.
6. Supreme Court Rule 37(10) re reciprocal discipline of attorneys.
7. Supreme Court Rule 50(1)A re interest-bearing trust accounts of attorneys.
8. Supreme Court Rule 50(2)B re location of attorneys’ trust accounts.
9. Supreme Court Rule 56 re performance evaluations of judges.

1. Superior Court Rule 36 re interrogatories.

Comments on any of the court rules changes that the committee proposes to recommend to the Supreme Court may be submitted in writing to the secretary of the committee at any time on or before Dec. 11, 2001, or may be made at the hearing on Dec. 12, 2001.

All suggestions for other rules changes may be submitted in writing to the secretary of the committee for consideration by the committee in the future.
