Bar News - May 4, 2007 Law Center, Concord Firm Nominees for Arts Awards Thirty New Hampshire businesses were nominated for their sponsorships, employee volunteerism and donations of products and services in support of the arts. Among the nominees are the Cleveland, Waters and Bass law firm and Franklin Pierce Law Center, both of Concord. The Business in the Arts Awards Gala will be held May 14 at 6 p.m. at the Center of New Hampshire—Radisson Hotel in Manchester. Sponsored by the New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts (NHBCA), the gala marks the 23rd year of the awards’ presentation. The evening celebrates business support of the arts and will feature a showcase of drama, movement, and music. The Master of Ceremonies is Robert Shea of the Dana Center at St. Anselm College. In addition to the performances, the program will feature a cultural trivia quiz show with contestants winning gift baskets and a grand prize of two Southwest airline tickets.
