The annual meeting of the Merrimack County Bar Association (MCBA) will be held on June 6, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. at the Red Blazer Restaurant and Pub, 72 Manchester Street, Concord.

The MCBA is currently seeking nominations for Lawyer of the Year, to be presented at the dinner meeting. Send nominations to MCBA, P.O. Box 1682, Concord, NH 03302-1682 no later than May 15, 2007.

After the dinner, Professor Richard Hesse will present, “A Conversation with Chief Justice John Marshall.” In his dramatization, Hesse lets Marshall tell his own story. Marshall has been recognized as the greatest chief justice in the history of the U.S. Supreme Court for developing Constitutional doctrine and the role of the court in the federal system.
