Bar News - May 4, 2007 Family Law Attorneys Needed The Lawyer Referral Service Reduced Fee Program desperately needs family law attorneys in Merrimack, Belknap and Coos counties. The Reduced Fee Program helps people whose incomes are above the pro bono guidelines, but who cannot afford to pay typical attorney rates. Attorneys in the program agree to charge no more than $80 per hour and a lower retainer amount. The program and the public need your help. Even if you take part of a case (unbundled services), or if you take one case at a time, your participation would greatly benefit not only the clients, but the courts which are overburdened with pro se litigants. Sign up within the next 30 days and LRS will give you a free one-year membership to its full-fee program. Attorneys on the full-fee LRS program collected over $1 million dollars in legal fees in 2006.
