Judge Conboy Honored for Lifetime Achievement

The Hon. Carol Ann Conboy, justice of the New Hampshire Superior Court, is this year’s recipient of the Manchester Bar’s annual Lifetime Achievement Award. She was recognized with friends, family and colleagues present during a dinner held in her honor on Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at the Bedford Village Inn.
Carol Ann Conboy received her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut and served as a US Air Force officer during the Vietnam War. She received a JD degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center in 1978, and soon after began her law career as a clerk for Judge Shane Devine, the former chief judge of the New Hampshire Federal District Court.
Conboy had been a partner at the law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton in Manchester, where her practice areas included litigation with a concentration in employment law. She was appointed to the bench in 1992. She serves as chair of both the New Hampshire Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Judicial Ethics and of the New Hampshire Superior Court Sentence Review Board. She has been a member of the NH Bar since 1978.
