Bar News - June 8, 2007 Plenty to Do at The BALSAMS Early goers … arrive Thursday night or early on Friday, and you can sign up for a Culinary demonstration on Friday at 2 p.m. Self-improvers.. On Friday at 2 p.m., golf and tennis clinics (complimentary for Bar members and guests). Parents… Take some time off, sign up your kids for supervised children’s programs for part or whole days (additional charge.) Also, children can be signed up for “coketail” party, dinner and movie in the evening. Active and outdoorsy… Saturday, 7 a.m. wake-up run. Meet at registration desk. A less strenuous guided garden tour takes place at 10 a.m. or a historical tour of The BALSAMS struts off at 2 p.m. Competitors…The annual scramble golf tournament and the tennis tournament start at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Night owls…Following the banquets on Friday and Saturday, there’s live music for dancing in the Ballroom or Wilderness Lounge.
