Joseph Laplante Nominated

 

 
Joseph Laplante



Joseph Laplante, First Assistant US Attorney for New Hampshire, has been nominated for the US District Court judgeship formerly held by Judge Joseph A. DiClerico, Jr., who has moved to senior status.

           

It will likely be several months before the Senate holds a confirmation hearing.

           

Laplante, a state and federal prosecutor for 14 years, has been active in the Bar Association and was the 2001 recipient of the Bar Foundation’s Kirby award for young attorneys. See page 24 for details.
