Michael Harvell, an attorney with Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green, Manchester, and a NH Bar member since 1975, was recently named president of the Portsmouth Music Hall Board of Trustees. The Music Hall is one of New Hampshire’s cultural arts centers.

Alan Cleveland Becomes Fellow of Benefits Counsel
Manchester attorney Alan Cleveland, Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green, was recently selected as a fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel. The group was formed to encourage development and education in the field of employee benefits law and to foster public awareness for the cause. Cleveland joined the NH Bar in 1974.

Peter Nieves Accepted to Manchester Leadership Program
Attorney Peter Nieves, of Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green, Manchester, was recently accepted to the Leadership Greater Manchester class of 2008. Leadership Greater Manchester, a program of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, is a nine-month series of interactive experiences that fosters leadership and community. Nieves has been a NH Bar member since 2007.

Rob Miller, a partner in the Litigation Department of Manchester firm Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green, has been selected for the 2007-08 Class of Leadership New Hampshire. Leadership New Hampshire is designed to better equip its participants for leadership roles. Miller has been a NH Bar member since 1998.

Jack and Sheri Crisp Chair Friends Program Fundraiser
Jack P. Crisp, Jr., an attorney with Crisp, Barrett, Hebert & Uchida, was co-chair with his wife Sheri, a well known NH artist, of this year’s annual fundraising auction for the Friends Program. The event showcased the work of 47 artists whose work was sold at live auction at the Grappone Center in Concord. Crisp has been a NH Bar member since 1978. He is a past NH Bar Association president.

Heather E. Krans, an attorney with Wiggin & Nourie in Manchester and a NH Bar member since 1998, was recently elected chair of the Planned Parenthood Northern New England Action Fund. The Action Fund is an independent, non-partisan, not-for-profit organization that serves as the political arm of Planned Parenthood of New England.
