Holly J. Kilibarda, an attorney with the Devine Millimet firm in Manch-ester and recently elected president of Dress for Success of New Hampshire, says the group will hold a Sept. 20 event featuring author Jodi Picoult. Dress for Success is a not-for-profit organization which promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire and career development support. 

Ms. Picoult’s books often feature attorney protagonists.  Nineteen Minutes is no exception, only this time one of her chief characters is a judge.  In this book, Picoult offers a complex plot at the center of which is a school shooting.
