Info Sessions on Sub-Prime Lending Offer LRS as a Resource
The NH Banking Department has begun holding free public sessions in cities across the state to provide help for citizens concerned about the status of their “sub-prime” loans.
At the sessions, Banking Department staff will review consumers’ mortgage documents and answer questions that New Hampshire citizens may have about upcoming changes in their payment terms.
Consumers are also provided lists of resources that include the NHBA Lawyer Referral Service if they need legal representation.
For details on the Banking Department’s outreach effort and the sessions scheduled to date, please visit: http://www.nh.gov/banking/outreach.html.
If you are interested in participating in the LRS panel of attorneys to build your practice, contact LRS Coordinator Robin Brown at rbrown@nhbar.org or visit the Lawyer Referral Service page at www.nhbar.org.
