Lauren Noether, NH Senior Assistant Attorney General and NH Bar Member since 1982, was recently named the 2007 recipient of the William Paine Award. The award is named for Bill Paine, a Carroll County Attorney and presiding justice for the District Court of Northern Carroll County. The award is given annually to an individual who brings a multidisciplinary approach toward reducing domestic violence. Noether has been a prosecutor in the state for more than 22 years and has worked extensively to bring a “team approach” to fighting domestic violence and child abuse throughout New Hampshire.
