NHBA Membership Cards – An Update
To make it easier for Bar members to identify themselves as attorneys, the NHBA began issuing Member identification cards annually to active status members. The 2007-08 cards have been distributed to all active members following the payment of their dues.
Members who have submitted standard portrait headshots to the Bar also have their photos included on the ID cards.
If you require a replacement card, or you wish to add or update a photo, please contact Member Services Coordinator Rose Anocibar. A $10 processing fee may be required for the issuance of a new card.
There is no charge for updating your photo on the Web site Member Directory.
To have your photo included (or updated) on the Member Directory, send a color or black & white photo, with the individual’s face easily identifiable for security purposes (no hats or sunglasses). For digital photos, please e-mail the picture as an attached file—not embedded in the e-mail or a separate document—jpg format preferred to nhbainfo@nhbar.org or mail a photo to Web Coordinator, NHBA, 2 Pillsbury Street, Suite 300, Concord, NH 03301.
Member photos will also be provided on a periodic basis to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff James Hardy has begun a pilot program to test an alternative screening process for NHBA members with photo IDs entering the Hillsborough County Superior Court building in Nashua.
Visit our Security Pilot Project page at About the Bar for more information on this program.
To view your entry in the online Member Directory, go to the password-protected For Members area. (Click on the “For Members” button from the left navigation bar, enter your username and password, then select “Member Directory” from the list of links. The directory is searchable by name, firm, town/city, or e-mail address.)
Please check your listing in the Member Directory to verify that your information is accurate and that your photo is up-to-date.
