Nina Gardner Receives “Voice for Children” Award
Child and Family Services of New Hampshire has presented Nina Gardner, the executive director of the NH Judicial Council since 1988, with its annual Voice for Children Award, an honor bestowed yearly to a New Hampshire citizen who has shown an outstanding commitment to making a difference in the lives of children and families.
Gardner, of Sanbornton, has worked to ensure that children’s needs are treated as a top priority across a wide spectrum of issues: divorce, juvenile delinquency and all matters of child protection, such as abuse/neglect, foster care, termination of parental rights, and adoption.
She was instrumental in the creation of New Hampshire family courts and in a field frought with complex issues, Gardner, has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to protecting the rights, needs and well-being of children.
