Corrections
Due to an editor’s error, the article in the Dec. 14, 2007, Bar News reviewing key changes in the NH Rules of Professional Conduct contained a misleading description of Rule 1.10 Imputation of Conflicts of Interest: General Rule. The Rule allows an exception to the general conflicts rule that would allow lawyers in a firm to represent a client even though one of the lawyers may have a "personal" conflict, such as strong political beliefs. However, as noted by [3] of the ABA Model Rules Comments, the exception to the conflicts rule would not apply if neither "questions of client loyalty nor protection of confidential information are presented."
Superior Court Judge Kathleen McGuire has been a judge since 1989. An article in the Dec. 14 Bar News omitted the year.
