Channel Changing: Bar Uses Internet Video for Outreach
A screen capture from the NHBA-produced "YouTube" video. In the image, Milford student Lauren Baum answers questions from judges at the 2008 New Hampshire "We the People..." state competition. | Continuing its efforts to more effectively communicate with members and conduct public outreach, the NHBA recently made two successful forays in broadcasting videos over the Internet.
On Jan. 10, the NHBA Pro Bono Referral program, in conjunction with the NHBA CLE Committee, broadcast a live Web cast, “Doing Good, Doing Pro Bono: the New Rule 6.1” that attracted more than 100 members as viewers.
The Bar Association also broke new ground last month by posting its first video – documenting the finals of the “We the People…the Citizen & the Constitution” on the popular video-sharing site, YouTube.com.
