 Norman P. Cormier |
Norman P. Cormier of Raymond High School has been chosen as the scholarship teacher for the National Finals being held in Washington, DC, with an all-expense paid trip provided by the Center for Civic Education. Cormier is new to "We the People..." and is a ninth-grade teacher at Raymond High School. He was so excited about the program, he immediately went back to his school and got other classes involved, including a special needs class. This first-hand perspective of the competition will allow teachers to participate in the weekend’s activities along with students, competition teachers, judges, and coordinators. They will also attend event receptions and the awards dinner banquet.
