Correction
Bar News wishes to clear up any misunderstanding that may have occurred from the comments in the "Did you know?" box in the March 7, 2008 issue. Regarding reduced fees for CLEs when lawyers take Pro Bono cases: on occasion the NHBA CLE department will partner with the Pro Bono department to offer a reduced fee for a CLE. However, when this is the case, you will see a mention of the Pro Bono reduced fee in the CLE ad. Several times a year the Pro Bono Program sponsors its own seminars for volunteer attorneys. Using grant funds to subsidize part of the costs, Pro Bono charges minimal tuition for these training sessions. These special Pro Bono seminars are advertised in Bar News and via e-bulletins.
