2008 Annual Meeting
Book Your Flight: All-Day Solo/Small Firm Management Program
Small Firm Flight Plan for the 21st Century is an all-day law practice management program for solo and small-firm attorneys, held in conjunction with the 2008 Annual Meeting on Friday, June 20, 2008 at the North Conway Grand Hotel.
A flight crew of experienced solo and small-firm practitioners will be at the controls, taking attendees through all elements of operating a solo or small firm.
Who should attend?
Tire-kickers . Are you thinking about going out on your own? Are you considering re-entering or re-positioning your practice?
Those buckling up. You’ve decided to make the plunge and you’re checking your parachute straps, your bank balance and your lines of credit.
Pilot at the controls. You’re been at it for a few years, and you’re looking for suggestions on how to fine-tune your flying.
Crew members. A small firm is a team. Bring along your partner, office manager, paralegal or that spouse "who does the books." (Special price for non-lawyer attendees.)
Who should NOT attend?
Those just looking for credits. Only limited portions of this program will qualify for NHMCLE credit under NH Supreme Court Rule 53. Your primary reason for attending is to learn how to better manage your law office; credits TBD.
Co-chairing the program are Edward Philpot of Gilford and Richard Sager of Ossipee.
A wide range of issues will be discussed:
- finding and furnishing an office; - technology, hardware and software; - staffing issues; - finance issues - client development, client relations - managing your caseload…and more
To register for this program: use the Annual Meeting brochure that is posted on the Bar’s website and that will be mailed to all members within the next week.
