The New Hampshire Bar Foundation Board of Directors and staff express their sincere thanks and appreciation to Attorney Claudia Damon of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, PA, of Concord, who recently completed her second five-year term on the IOLTA Grants Committee. Claudia served as chair of the committee for many years and provided guidance and stability throughout her ten years of dedicated service. Thank you, Claudia!
To fill the open five-year term on the IOLTA Grants Committee, nominations will be accepted through June 30, 2008. Nomination forms are available online.
If more than one person is nominated, a ballot will be mailed July 11, 2008, to every participant of the IOLTA Program. If you do not receive a ballot and believe you should, please contact Mary White, finance and IOLTA coordinator, at the New Hampshire Bar Foundation via e-mail to or by calling 603-715-3210.
The five-member IOLTA Grants Committee meets twice a year. The Bar Foundation’s IOLTA Grants Program is a competitive grant process that provides funding to New Hampshire nonprofit organizations that provide civil legal services to the disadvantaged, law-related education, and other projects approved by the NH Supreme Court. For the FY2009 grant cycle (6/1/08-5/31/09), $1.7 million was awarded to eleven of the fifteen organizations that applied for funding.
Additional information about the IOLTA Grants Program is available online at www.nhbarfoundation.org.
