Could You Benefit From a Mentor?
 Attorney Richard Fradette, of Manchester, chats with Jarrett Duncan, a New Lawyers Committee member and an attorney at the McLane, Graf law firm at the Mentor Reception held on May 28. Fradette is in his first year as a mentor. |
The New Lawyers’ Committee is benefiting from an embarrassment of riches – more mentors are available than attorneys seeking assistance!
The Mentor Program encourages attorneys who feel they could benefit from the advice of a more seasoned attorney to consider signing up. The program is open to attorneys who are:
• Newly admitted, or new to the state;
• entering or considering entering a new area of practice;
• re-entering active practice following a hiatus.
The Member Services Coordinator, in collaboration with the New Lawyers’ Committee, matches attorneys seeking guidance (participants are called "Associates") with a Mentor who is the best match possible in terms of geography and practice area.
