Bake Sale to Pay Dues?
We would like to contribute the following to the lively discussion about the bar dues and court fees in a recent edition of the Bar News. Please post:
Attorneys working for the State of NH to advance the public good, who pay their own bar dues and court fees out of their public-interest-sized salaries, hosting BAKE SALE to help pay these costs as well as their mortgages, grocery and utility costs, day care expenses and other monthly bills during the months of June and July.
Thanks,
Rorie E.P. Hollenberg and Meredith A. Hatfield
NHBA Comment: Over the past several years, the NH Bar Association leadership has held several meetings with state government officials seeking ways for state government to pay the dues required for attorneys whose terms of employment require a law license.
