NH Bar Foundation IOLTA Grants Committee Term Open

There is one five-year term open on the NH Bar Foundation’s IOLTA Grants Committee beginning this year. Any attorney who participates in the IOLTA Program may nominate himself or herself or another attorney. Nominations will be accepted through June 30, 2008. If more than one person is nominated, a ballot will be mailed July 11, 2008, to every participant of the IOLTA Program. Current committee members include Jamie Hage, Leslie Nixon, Hon. James Leary, and Michael Fuerst.

The Bar Foundation’s Funding Principles and Nomination Form may be downloaded from the Bar Foundation website.

The IOLTA Grants Committee meets once a year in March. The Committee reviews IOLTA Grant applications submitted in a competitive grant process open to New Hampshire nonprofit organizations that provide civil legal services to the disadvantaged, law-related education, and other projects approved by the NH Supreme Court. The IOLTA Grants Committee makes funding recommendations to the NH Bar Foundation’s Board of Directors. For additional information, contact Susan Noon, program and communications director, at 715-3253.
