William Chapman, NH Humanities Council
William Chapman, an attorney at Orr & Reno in Concord, was recently elected to the board of directors for the NH Humanities Council, a private non-profit organization that provides free humanities programs to the community. |

R. Peter Taylor, a partner at McNeill, Taylor & Gallo in Dover, recently became a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. The ACTL, founded in 1950, admits those whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality and members must have a minimum of 15 years trial experience before joining. |
Sarah B. Knowlton, Breathe NH
Sarah B. Knowlton, an attorney at McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, was named recently to the board of directors of Breathe New Hampshire, a statewide nonprofit health organization dedicated to all things that affect breathing. Knowlton was an attorney for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, prior to moving to Durham. |

John Bomster, Alumni Award
John Bomster, winner of the 2006 NHBA Distinguished Service Award, was recently given a Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Bridgeport, the Connecticut undergraduate college Bomster attended before moving on to the University of Connecticut Law School. Bomster first joined the NH Bar in 1996. He is of counsel to Adler, Pollack & Sheehan in Providence, Rhode Island. |
Robert E. Dastin, Guardian Angel Award
Robert E. Dastin, a shareholder with Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green, was recently honored by the NH Catholic Charities with the 2008 Guardian Angel Award, presented at the organization’s annual board of directors’ meeting. The Guardian Angel Award is given to someone "who has sown extraordinary support of the NH Catholic Charities or one of its specific programs." |
