Bar News - August 15, 2008 Leapholes Video Released: See it onYouTube.com
The New Hampshire Bar Association has been selected to receive the 2008 LexisNexis Community & Educational Outreach Award for the Leapholes Pilot Project, which introduced middle school students to famous civil rights’ cases through reading the book Leapholes written by James Grippando.In response to the honor, the New Hampshire Bar Association has released a video, hosted on YouTube.com, to better provide coverage, in living color, of the award-winning law-related education program. The video includes samples of projects from two middle schools and features narration from students, a teacher and James Grippando himself. Grippando came to the New Hampshire Bar Center in Concord this past May to speak with students who read the book and participated in the program.Find the video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqZBFh3tdKk. |
