The Catholic Lawyers Guild of New Hampshire will present its third annual Thomas More Award at the annual dinner on October 9, 2008 at the Bedford Village Inn after the celebration of the Red Mass at St. Joseph Cathedral in Manchester. The recipient of the award will be announced during the week of September 22, 2007.
The award will recognize a Lawyer or Judge who is a practicing Catholic who embodies the spirit of St. Thomas More in his or her courage, dedication, integrity, civility, and compassion toward others. It is named after the patron saint of lawyers, known for his uncompromising integrity and dedication to family, community and the rule of law, while recognizing the Supreme Law and having the courage to resist political pressure and exigencies. The past recipients of the award were the Honorable Martin F. Loughlin and Attorney Peter J. Loughlin.
