Four NH Firms Volunteer for June Pro Bono Marathons
With little fanfare, but with generosity of time and spirit, NH Bar members from four law firms recently stepped forward to provide low-income people with access to urgently needed legal services by participating in referral sessions coordinated by the Pro Bono Referral Program.
The following law firms took part: Baker & Hayes in Lebanon; Laffan Law Office in Lebanon; McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton in Manchester; and Orr & Reno in Concord. The attorneys of these firms volunteered to call on their peers, asking them to accept cases involving matters ranging from bankruptcy and debt collection to divorce and parenting time. More than 50 needy clients benefited from these efforts.
