The release of Casemaker 2.1 does not represent a fundamental change in how Casemaker operates, but experienced users will notice some of the pathways have altered slightly. These changes are designed to make it easier to search among the individual state law libraries collected in Casemaker. Users can opt to search all the state libraries at the same time, or opt to pick and choose which libraries to include in your research. Through a "multi-book" search, you can search at the same time through all of the "books" (i.e. caselaw, statutes, and Ethics Opinions) in a particular state library.
For a user’s guide to Casemaker 2.1, click on the Help button on any menu in the Casemaker library. Also, click on the Live Training link available on any page – you will have your choice of live or recorded Webinars that will provide a guided tour of Casemaker 2.1.
