Perhaps the most significant change in the Constitution and Bylaws is the creation of a "Public Sector Governor" seat on the Board of Governors for an attorney employed by a public sector/public interest entity. The proposed amendments in the Constitution and Bylaws was amended at the meeting to incorporate language that references the criterion for public sector/public interest entities "as established by the Public Sector/Public Interest Task Force".¹ (See footnote to Article VI, Section 3 for criterion.)

Also, in Article I, section 2, all Bar members will now be required to provide an e-mail address to the Bar Association.Most of the other amendments largely make housekeeping changes to reflect current practice such as Association correspondence and the role of the NHBA treasurer.
