Kudos for NH Ethics Comments
From a national review of ethics rules, Developments in the Regulation of Lawyers by Hofstra University Law Professor Roy Simon, comes this praise of the NHBA Ethics Committee’s work in revising the NH Rules of Professional Conduct and providing comments on the changes.
Professor Roy Simon (no relation to Professor Mitchell Simon of Franklin Pierce Law Center, a longtime member of the Ethics Committee.) wrote:
"Each rule that differs from the corresponding ABA Model Rule of Professional Conduct is followed by a "New Hampshire Comment" that clearly and concisely explains how and why New Hampshire departed from the ABA Model Rule. These comments are among the most thoughtful I have seen from any state."
