A Thank You Note from the Supreme Court

All of us at the Supreme Court want to thank the members of the New Hampshire Bar Association who generously volunteered their time to help prepare high school students for the 10th "On the Road" special session of the Supreme Court held at Souhegan High School.
The success of this event has always depended upon the willingness of lawyers to visit each of the participating schools in advance to talk with students about the cases to be heard and about the work of the court. This year, volunteer lawyers visited 13 schools, reaching more than 400 students. It was evident to everyone involved that these students came to Souhegan ready to take advantage of this very unique opportunity to learn about the Supreme Court and its work.
The lawyers who participated in this year’s project were:
Mark D. Fernald Todd A. Whitney John V. Dwyer, Jr. Kent M. Barker James Costello Jared O’Connor Charles J. Keefe Peter E. Hutchins Simon R. Brown Jane-Holly Weintraub Steven H. Slovenski Ann M. Rice Peter C. Roth Diana E. Fenton Matthew R. Serge Janine Gawryl
Each of them deserves credit for helping to make "On the Road" one of our most enduring, and successful, efforts to enhance public understanding of the New Hampshire court system.
