Hooray for Galway! Judge Galway Gets a Warm Send-off
A large crowd of well-wishers attended Justice Galway’s retirement celebration held last month in the Supreme Court’s judicial conference room. Galway was a well-known trial lawyer at the Devine Millimet law firm, where he was a law partner of Chief Justice Broderick, before he was named to the bench. An interview with Galway has been completed and will be published in an upcoming issue of Bar News. |
Justice Richard Galway, chuckling at remarks by Gov. John Lynch, retired from the judiciary after serving as a judge for 14 years. He was appointed to the NH Superior Court in 1995, and in 2004, he was named to the NH Supreme Court. Galway’s wife Anita is at right. |
