You may not realize it, but April 16 is National Healthcare Decision Day, and Kate Hanna of Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green has been appointed as the New Hampshire State Liaison for the events.

The day’s efforts are directed at encouraging citizens to take control of their healthcare decision-making by executing advance directives, including a Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare document and/or a Living Will.

This year, Kate Hanna is asking attorneys and their law firms to help in the effort by holding educational sessions for staff members and by providing free office hours to members of the public regarding advance directives.
