Terry Shumaker | Terry Shumaker, NH Political Library
Terry Shumaker, an attorney with Bernstein Shur in Manchester, was recently appointed as chairman to the board of directors for the New Hampshire Political Library. The NH Policital Library – founded in 1997 by Gov. Hugh Gregg and NH Secretary of State William Gardner – is a non-partisan, non-profit organization working to preserve the state’s political tradition.

Anu R. Mullikin, chair of the Trust & Estate practice group at Devine Millimet in Manchester, was recently recognized by the NH Business Review when she was presented with a 2009 Outstanding Women in Business Award, which recognizes and celebrates the success and achievements of women in the NH business community.

Ernest Bell, Co-Authors Wings Over Keene
Retired attorney Ernest Bell, who joined the Bar Association in 1952, recently co-authored a history of the Keene Airport with David Proper. The book charts the beginning of the airfield that once hosted hot air balloons to the present-day Dillant-Hopkins Airport. Bell said that he and Proper spent roughly two years researching and writing the book.

Jack Ruderman, former deputy director of the NH Office of Energy and Planning, was recently appointed director of the NH Public Utilities Commission’s Sustainable Energy Division, which was created to implement recent legislative initiatives designed to promote renewable energy efficiency in New Hampshire.
