On May 11, 2009 the Daughters of the American Revolution, Molly Stark Chapter, presented the annual Community Service Award to Hon. Paul S. Moore of Bedford, NH in recognition of his ongoing efforts on behalf of MooreMart, the New England Handicapped Sports Association (NEHSA) and area churches. Through MooreMart he sends care packages to members of the Armed Services serving in the Middle East.
Moore is the past president of NEHSA, the second oldest adaptive sports program in the US and has served on its board of directors for 15 years. He is the co-founder of MooreMart, which to date has shipped over 20,000 care packages, as well as two and a half tons of relief supplies to schools and orphanages throughout Iraq and Afghanistan.
In addition, Judge Moore works with non-profit agencies throughout New Hampshire and has been involved in pro bono work with five area churches for the past 25 years.
Moore is a special justice in Milford District Court.
