Bar News - July 17, 2009 Conboy Joins Supreme Court
On July 8, the Hon. Carol Ann Conboy, who served 17 years on the Superior Court, became the second woman appointed to the Supreme Court. Hon. Linda S. Dalianis, senior associate justice, helps Justice Conboy don her new robes. Gov. John Lynch, Chief Justice Broderick, Jack Middleton and Pierce Law Dean John Hutson spoke. Middleton is partner of the McLane law firm where Conboy began her legal career. Conboy is a trustee of Pierce Law and is its first graduate to sit on the state’s highest court.
