Nominees Sought for St. Thomas More Award
The Catholic Lawyers Guild of New Hampshire will present its fourth annual Thomas More Award at the annual dinner on October 8, 2009 at C R Sparks in Bedford after the celebration of the Red Mass at Saint Joseph Cathedral in Manchester.
The award nomination deadline is Aug. 3, 2009.
The award will recognize a lawyer or judge who is a practicing Catholic who embodies the spirit of Saint Thomas More in his or her courage, dedication, integrity, civility, and compassion toward others. It is named after the patron saint of lawyers, known for his uncompromising integrity and dedication to family, community and the rule of law. Past recipients of the award were the Hon. Martin Loughlin, now deceased, and attorneys Peter Loughlin and Peter McDonough.
